I like you, lol, you sound like a good parent to haveHe's interesting in playing games, but not so much programming stuff. That requires being able to remember things, and he has disorganized thinking, which makes things like that, very difficult for him.
Professional gaming doesn't make enough for me to want to encourage him to become a "Pro-Gamer" as a life job. LOL I love gaming too, don't get me wrong, and I made money off it as a teen myself, but it's now where NEAR enough to live on... even the best professional gamers only make about 60-80k a year, and that's the like the top 50-100 gamers in the world. There's not much chance he'd end up being in those ranks, not with his vision being so bad and so uncoordinated. It takes a lot of eye-hand coordination.
I'm all about setting up realistic goals for my kids, I've never been of the belief that "you can do whatever you want, or reach every goal you ever set."
I also don't believe in giving trophies for participation though, so I'm a meanie like that. haha
i wasnt thinking as a profession really but more as something for him to be into
