The only thing I've had stolen here is my air compressor. I was devastated and I've never been able to replace it.
That's what I get for putting wheels on it.

Good idea; didn't think of using them anyway. Shell was rough all over. My first thought was a not-fully-developed shell.

Is it a young bird?
Even if cooking for yourself, cooking thoroughly will kill any bacteria that could have entered but I feed them to chicks.

I live on a dead end Lane. Someone came looking or saw it going to the one house past mine. They cut the chain loaded it and left and so far no one noticed. With half of the lane night shift you have to wonder how it was missed. They do not appear to have taken anything else. Good new John Deere. Only started it one time last spring to learn how.

Was a guy near here who had his wood splitter stolen from right in front of his garage in broad daylight. I had someone come into my house several years ago & steal a truckload of firewood while nobody was home. Didn't bother any guns or cash.

Mine was in broad daylight while I was home, in the kitchen.
I was in the middle of using my compressor on the patio between the back porch and the garage. I went inside for lunch. When I came out there was a bunch of brush in the middle of the driveway. I couldn't figure out where it came from. Then I saw the compressor was gone. I surmise they had the brush in the back of a truck, drug it out, wheeled the compressor up to it and loaded it up.
My house is really soundproof. With 10 roosters, I can't hear them when I'm in the house.
I called a couple friends hoping they had borrowed it. They said they wouldn't do that without asking. I was hoping anyway.

Maybe the firewood guy was just cold.
