Babies got to spend most of the day outside swimming and playing today. The chickens discovered then and really had no clue what they were looking at lol

HELP!! I just checked my eggs and one that had pipped had yellowish bubbles around the pip zip line and when I looked at the beak it was not moving and dead

What happened?! There have been about 20 that have hatched fine.

it could have been too wet, or it broke its yolk sack

Alright, I said I'd give the last egg until wed. No signs of life. So I'm throwing it out this afternoon and wiping out the incubator with bleach water and a towel.

The new eggs should be here today or tomorrow? lol Let them settle over night, then throw them into the incubator. I don't want to handle them too much since they are shipped eggs.

I really, really want ducks. But, I need to have a way to keep them safe from the barn cats until they are full grown. I really don't want them in the bathtub. LOL
