Pen two with the cockerel with the poop I asked about. Most are normal like the first, but the other two look icky.

I could smell skunk, and hadn't locked up the coop. I waited a few minutes, and went out. Going to the back door, my eyes began to water from the smell. It's pretty bad when about ten minutes after the skunk sprays, you have to shower and change.

Okay, so TSC didn't have ANY poult starter, or bird starter of any sort, but chicken, or an all flock start (that says quail, chick, duck, goose, turkey, etc) on the bag, but it's only 20% protein. I bought it, but they said on monday, he could order some poult starter for me, but it would take a week or so to get it in.

You can put in a light cord as sufficient heat. Pensmaster says it works great in a brooder rather than a light unless you have a mamma heating pad.

ooo and our TSC gave me three pallets and said he'd have a bunch more next week to give me... so I can start collecting pallets from them in order to take the wood apart to make a turkey pen ;o
