So once in the tank it flows to the leach line coating the pipes and roots?

I believe so but if your problem is the leach field, your approach may be different.
My blockage was from the house to the septic tank.

The freaky thing is that we've lived here over 20 years and never had the tank pumped. I had it evaluated about 3 years ago because it was scaring me and he said it wasn't necessary. Now there are only 2 people living here so I may never have to do it - if I can keep it healthy.
MC: YAS. Hammocks are a huge game changer. We're an eno dealer through the camp and DH has all the cold-weather gear for his. Mine is faded because I left it on a porch one whole summer. Even five minutes was an awesome break from working.

The kids were both down to their undies in the tent. I had all my clothes on, but I know how to lay still and cool down. Bubba was asking me about insects and he was making their noises back to them, every time he saw a flashlight or a truck drove in... I just reached my breaking point. So we left while they'll still have positive thoughts on it, not that time mom went crazy and slept in the dirt or something like that.

I took my daughter on a 4 day float on the Current river when she was 4. It was hot summer time but usually that river is so cold from all the springs along the way that it is fairly comfortable on gravel bars at night.
One night it was raining so we had our small bivy light tent closed up. We laid in there about a half hour sweating and she said, "Daddy, I'm so hot, I don't know what to do." I said, "Well, I guess we're going to get wet." I opened the flap on the door and we got rained on the face and had fresh air. We made it.

Yes very expensive. My tank was built in the 70's and trees grasses etc have grown into the leach field. Still works but if it fails it's either dig to the city or put in new one. Removing old as hazardous waste and installing new. Since laws have changed on tanks here cost are outrageous.

I just read the instructions and it is for sewer lines. I don't see a way to get it into the leach field.
Perhaps you could call them. The # is 1-800-844-4974. They're in Oregon.
A 2 lb. package is for lines up to 50' so I assume that's the farthest the foam of that size container will flow. You need the larger sizes for longer lines.

In our county, new septic tank installations are not allowed. I'm guessing our tank/s were installed somewhere between the 50s and 60s replacing the one from around 1903.
Another house predated this one but I imagine they used an outhouse.

Ahhhhhhhh we've been hit with the Windows 10 update!!!!

:lau Hopefully it won't be too bad.

Man, getting my kids ready for church is quite the ordeal. Especially when we're having a potluck after and I have to actually bring something to contribute. LOL

Seven kids within ten years. My parents were ministers. Five teen girls was harder on my mother! :gig

I have slept in the rain. Sometimes you just have to. Before we started marrying off, we used to sleep by the fire.

Ok that's cold. I have a few things in the garden I'd like to finish up before that kind of temps hit,

It's going to get a lot colder here so maybe they were right it is going to be a worse winter if it's getting that cold already and last year we got 21 inches of snow so wonder how much we will get this year.

Yes just read the instructions on getting it to the leach field. Mine doesn't have the proper fittings to do that. I also had it pumped 3 years ago. Guy said it was in great shape no roots but a massive plug at house. He did put a product to clear up the leach field back then and gave/sold me product to put in tank yearly.

That is one old house you have.

Also I looked up the protein level of spent grain and it is more concentrated than the starting percentage. Almost double.

Camping is our hobby and profession. DH goes backpacking about a dozen times a year. He has tons or awesome gear, and there were hardly any bugs which is rare for us. Poor bubba just couldn't get settled, and I lost my patience with him. DH and I agreed: we'd give him 30 minutes to settle then call it. He was close, I think, but I was about to lose my mind. So at 9 pm we broke camp and drove home.

We go camping a few times a year but we go in a camper that's to small and doesn't have air conditioner. We have four dogs that go with us also so that makes it even smaller we are buying a new camper before we go next season.

How long does it take a temp spike to affect embryos? Yesterday (day 15 for chickens and ducks) the bator was at 105.6. It had been having trouble holding temp so I had half of it under a blanket overnight. I candled just now and I lost one chicken egg for sure, maybe two, but all the ducks are still kicking.

this is the new shed I'm working on, opted for a metal vrs building a wood one, tied it in with the back run, inside running wire screen around the bottom and up the sides to keep out critters, gotta think out the flooring, the fans I'm gonna order will help keep heat an humidity down
