Would 2 waterbottles work as well as the rocks? I can heat them up in the micrwave for 30 to get them faster to temp. Or would that create humidity?

Small town hospitals are different, for sure. Dad was shot in a knee by a kid who'd never handled a gun before, at a gun club hunt on MD's Eastern Shore. After the surgery to remove most of the shotgun pellets, the head nurse told me he'd be in the ICU before being taken to his room. She said he didn't need to be in the ICU for any medical reason, but that the recovery room wasn't open on weekends

Too funny!!!! I was the ICU, the code team, the recovery room, overflow unit...... the Dr when I had a code and the ER doc was in another code...... No wonder I never slept!!!! So glad I am back to a bigger hospital-never been so glad to see residents in all my life! They may not have all the knowledge on what to do but they do have the license & i can talk them through!!!!

KK... it may be easier to keep the incubator clean since waterbottles are easily replacable between batches.

Water bottles would work fine as long as you have room for them. I used rocks in mine because I have the autoturner in there.
