I know, right? If they had my kid, he'd show them how fruitless it is, to try to market child-proof glasses, because there's no such thing! LOL

He was not a fan. The tablet and games that he can FINALLY see, held his interest for about 10 minutes, then... that was that.

And he's just young enough, that he doesn't 100% understand when you try to reason with him :(
Maybe you could rent him out as a tester of things.

They're basically for the same purpose, target shooting in bag, foam or grass targets. I just figured if someone couldn't use a broadhead because they were shooting into a havahart trap, the field point may penetrate better. target points are also called bullet points field point There are cheap ones (what I always used) but the better ones can be matched to be the same weight as the big game broadheads one is planning to use when hunting.
My guess is waiting to play games for eggs?????? or playing pool, darts, or bar hopping :lau or bowling?
Playing pool. It was league night.
.22 short is relatively quiet
Relatively but it still freaks out the neighbors.
Yes they are but these are supposed to be quieter. I'll have to get some from son and give them a try. Skunks are back
You're probably talking about .22 CB. It is subsonic with a lower propellant charge than a .22 short but looks similar. IMHO, they aren't that much quieter and won't get the job done with raccoons. As Whites said, for tough predators like those, a .22 long rifle hollow point is the way to go.
I wish someone would put that in size 70 bold red letters on the front page of this thread!
X2 Just leave your hands in your pockets. Get another hobby, let nature take its course and check back in 3 weeks to see how many hatched. I put broody hens in their own apartment with food and water and forget them. I'll check back every few days to make sure water is ok but that's it.
Yuppers! I love my 22. Great predator gun. If need be. I wish they'd just forget about my farm but the odds of that happening......lol hey I hear ya!! You should hear my 270 deer rifle!!! Avid hunters here!!! God bless! Glory
I've wanted a .270 my whole life and still don't have one. If I don't get a farm, I probably never will. I'm happy with the arms I have though.
The cat finally caught that lizard he was stalking the other day. Ate half of it. We put him outside in preparation for the puke, and he killed a tiny snake. The dogs just dragged in a bone they dug up from the yard. It's been a gross day. :/
Bad kitty. :old I like my lizards and snakes. Good predators of bugs, spiders, mice, voles, etc..
No but I'm fixin to as soon as I catch up here!!! Y'all are some yappin fools!!! Lol FIRE ANTS!!!! Killed 7 chicks.

That's awful. I'm glad we don't have them but our huge black ants killed 2 beehives early this summer.
Well what happened was...my hen ,Paisley, had 9 eggs. They all started hatching at the same time. My husband and I went to Walmart. When we got home I immediately went to check on her. The fire ants were by the hundreds!!! All over the eggs still hatching and covering the chicks that had. It was deathly hot. The ants were seeking moisture. They sting. And they inject a venom. It was just too much for these lil babies. It was a shock to their lil systems. I was so upset and devastated. Crying as I picked ants off their bodies. I was stung multiple times. But who cares?! I was trying to save them. Was able to save two. Which are thriving!!! I was determined to never let this happen again. Now,Paisley built her nest outside of the coop. On the ground. I hated this. But I figured she knew best. Well it was fine until hatch day. So when Brownie did the exact same thing....no....uh UH! I moved her and her eggs to a safe place. And Walah! Success! Thank you for your condolences. I really appreciate it. God bless you, Glory
WOW
Got an incubator cleaning question, I bought a used Brinsea Eco 20 and it was a good deal but I had to put a lot of elbow grease into it. It was FILTHY. Now it's all clean and shiny again but it still stinks. I think the lady burned incense too and I cannot get this nasty smell out! Suggestions?
Perhaps some Lysol, ammonia, vinegar or a citrus cleaner. Then leave it out in the sun to dry and air out.
If I remmber correctly tge second point 8s called Budkin.

We candled our eggs every night before bed on the non-shipped eggs we tried to hatch. My daughter wanted to watch the day to day development.

The shipped eggs, I've only touched every few days, too worried about them dying on me if I jiggle them. My daughter understood, she'd rather have live chicks.

But she's 5. I think 5 year old girls have more common sense then teenage boys.... :p

1 am--candle, 2 am- candle, 3 am- candle. all the way to 12 M. When you run out of numbers, repeat from the top. Don't bother with the temp or RH. If anything hatches, the chicks will at least be tough
