Incubating White Call Ducks

OMG, HOW ADORABLE.  WOW, good job.  your weak one give him some vitamins, he should pull threw..  You have silver Phoenix's Lol, I have a Silver Phoenix rooster and a Golden Phoenis, boy they are pretty and stylish...

They are adorable! They've imprinted on me and my husband, so they follow us around everywhere. The littlest one is doing great now. Just three days after she hatched I took her out with the big ducks in their kiddy pool and she jumped right in and swam along with them. We ordered some black calls and we should have more white calls hatching soon, so we'll have tons of cuties running around. Very exciting!

What about you and your clan? Pictures?

LOL and on there own...

There was no "letting". I was holding her, she saw the water, jumped out of my hand and hopped in before I could stop her. Swam around, jumped out and I dried her off and heated up the rice pad. It was a tiny sandwich Rubbermaid tub with warm water in it, so she was fine. How long have you been raising calls?

OMG, what an active little guy... Got to be careful though, you see momma ducks let them swim immediately but they are allowed to. When the babies are under there wings, she will put an oil on them, this oil protects so they can stay afloat, we can't mimick that same type of oil, so we give them one week, in one week they can produce there own oils. Otherwise, there little fluffy fur, will act as a sponge and could weigh them down..

I've raised, hatched and helped calls for several years now..
