I'm keeping everything crossed that at least just one of your eggs in developing!

Maybe once you move you can get a set up sorted with great security and can enjoy any new ducks you might get without constantly being anxious about them.

Are you against buying ducklings?

Very true i should be an exciting experience but I’m more anxious than anything. It’s just so hard seeing their little grave sites outside and how quiet it is so i definitely will need ducks. I miss them and want their offspring but it doesn’t seem likely but each day I’m more and more open to getting other ducks eggs to hatch. I reached out to a nearby hatchery asking if I could pick up in future but they said they have to be shipped for $40 it’ll be 50-60$ to get eggs. So I’m trying to do research on how to get more locally.

Thank you ! I’m going to be able to today or tmrw they went in 4/27 at 9 am. If nothing today I assume no development for them either :(

That’s a really good point - at our new house new beginning new ducklings - we have a pond and I was really excited for Donald and franklin to see it but now they’re buried next to it. I’m trying to be hopefully everything is going to work out fine. I just hope with new ducks I learned a lesson to trust nothing. I was reading about incidents people have and it’s clear anything is possible at any time. I always just worried about night. But yeah it would be easier to hatch at new house I can have everything set up etc. thanks

Hey unfortunately on day ten there was still no signs of veins or life that’s was a bday day no Donald and franklin babies. I only had five eggs they all must have been infertile. It really stinks but I’ll just get hatching eggs elsewhere. I still want to call one Donald junior he can be adopted I think if he reminds me of him that will be good enough
