@rey99 , I get it... and looking closer I can see that they are veins on the shell, right? Sorry, my mistake.

Okay, I feel better. That's right. They seem so big and red still.
OMG kathy that looks bad.. Where's the cord??
they are because he hasn't finished yet. if he was finished he would be out of that shell and you wouldn't see them, but by finished I mean he's still has some shrinking to do and clear up his cords. Not all that blood will be absorbed on the bottom of the shell which is OK,That's right. They seem so big and red still.
The ones down the smaller end are the critcial veins, that's where his main ones are so they take longer to get absorbed compare to the ones where his head would be those are just little veins, all the blood has to flow down towards the smaller end to the main vein..so they will be big.Just curious-why would the membranes where he pipped be almost clear of veins (and the ones that were there were very thin and spiderweby) but the ones at the other end still be big and full? Did he pip too early? Should I have waited longer after making the air hole.
I can't decide that, that's only something you have to figure out. We can help you as much as possible to get some babies. Do you know where the eggs would be coming from?
