Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

I don't see a speck of blood when you take her out again, work on getting more shell under her chin

The reason why is because you will want to push the membrane downwards giving her more room to move her head about, you can Take a little more above the top but work more downwards..

Ok you can take more shell off lots more.. Let's give her two hours from now.. I told you it's gonna be a long night
I'm more worried about YOU Lori! YOU need some sleep - I just set my alarm and get up...

Do you think I can handle this ALONE in two hours? Just cutting off more shell as I can without interfering with her membrane?

I took off as much as I could without touching the membrane - Any more would have pulled on it.

If it's the same plan in two hours, I can do it alone, I think...and let you sleep!

Grr my iPad is being stupid

Got it - Understood! I was afraid to go any more because I was afraid I would get the membrane...and you are right - NO BLOOD AT ALL! :)

Well unless it's the light, I don't see a speck of red, which means she has fully absorbed her veins, which could mean that she is fully absorbed, which would be the greatest thing in the world. Lol

AND IF YOU THINK IM GONNA MISS YOU TRYING TO GET THIS FULLY ABSORBED DUCK OUT OF ITS SHELL, YOU ARE CRAZY!!!

Did she move and chirp a lot??

LOL - I just feel bad that *I* am keeping YOU up all night!

She didn't chirp much at all - which makes me nervous...but she moved a lot, like she was trying to get her head out. I kept encouraging her, "Come on Peeper! Push! You are almost there!" :)

I don't think she's going to be an issue, she has no red bloody veins, I think she's sitting in that shell patiently waiting, looking at you and thinking COME ON MISSY, GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE WHAT ARE YOU WATING FOR???
