Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

Put a wash cloth or something on the bottom of it, if she is not absorbed you will place her in it, she will need to be in an upright position so that the yolk is under neath her, when she's in the upright position this will basically force the yolk to go inside her as she peeps. The onion will need to be chopped up this will go around her on the bottom of the bator, this is to keep her from getting bacteria and help her absorb quicker..,

I want to make sure I totally understand so I don't blow it at the last minute by not being prepared: I need to put a (dry?) washcloth inside (lining) a coffee cup so that if need be, I can place her sitting upright in the shell in the cup... Right? Do you want me to chop up the onion now, first, before I get her, or get her and start removing the shell around her head and see how it goes and then chop the onion after only if I need it? This all sounds like a fragile and crucial step, so I want to be really sure I understand and am prepared.

Right now we need to remove the shell, as far as the onion and cup it can wait because we will put her back into the bator and prepare this while she warms back up, so the cup/onion you will have plenty of time to deal with if need too. Right now the main issue is to not leave her out for more than 30 minutes, to take your time even if you only get a tiny piece of the shell off, it's ok, we just take more off after two hours.. And lastly is to not hit the membrane while taken the shell off.

That's about all we need to do right now, if you get to nerves or to scared, it's ok stick her back In and will try again In A couple of hours when you have calm down and feel more comfortable..

I'm good - I do not feel scared or nervous...I just want to make sure I understand you perfectly so I proceed correctly....I will go get her and understand what to do - remove as much of the eggshell - very carefully - around her without interfering with the membrane...and have her back in the incubator within 30 minutes....Correct?
