NO NO leave the sponges,
You need the humidity right where it is at, we just need to not wet her so much because she's getting all the moisture that she needs right now. This is a good thing. Lets give her a couple of more hours, will check her then, if she looks good still then I say we go for it.
The hole is to big, so she's going to need help, the ONLY help you need to give her is to get that head out. The hardest part about all of this is "is she fully absorbed". if she has a dime size of yolk left, she will be OK, we can get that to absorb, if she has more then that, it's a RISK.. and apparently the ONLY way to tell how much yolk she has left is by opening her up. I want to make sure she has Enough time so that if we do open her, she will be in the "safe Zone".. and be OK.I'm going to ask your advice - because you know better than I do! Is it worth waiting to see if she can free herself? Or now that I have her good and wet, and she has been trying to hatch for 48 hours, is she going to get too tired and give up? I will trust your best judgement, because I have no idea what is best for her at this point...![]()
That sounds good...I'll get a couple picture at 1 - wanna talk at 1:15 - in 2 hours?
so I may help right now but get ready because you'll have to help me someday. LOL
Off to put the kids to bed..
