Did you cut the wrong side??? Get her out get some paper towels and apply pressure.

Just apply gentle pressure, not hard..

Help me guys does anyone see the string??? The string should be dangle, the cut was suppose to be between the string and the shell looks like she was cut from the string to her body, it needed to go away from her body...

I cut it on the right side - string, cord, cut AWAY from her body - just like a baby's umbilical cord. I am going to put pressure on right now...

Clean some of that blood off and I could tell you if it's a boy or a girl...

OK - looks like it is drying up well now. She is still intermittently opening and closing her eyes...and when I put her back in the bator, she stood up - and fell over! But she is trying to stand up. She has also pooped - looks like three times (nice and green). TO be clear, when I said she was bleeding before, it wasn't constantly bleeding...it was more like oozing. But I think she is doing OK now - just resting.

Yes - exactly. And I think the string is dried up in the dried blood - covered in the dried blood, and that is why you can't see it.

The cord is still attached to her body...hanging, covered in dry blood. I am afraid if I clean it off too much, I will make it bleed again...
