Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

OK I went back and looked, nine is on day 36 and Ten is on day 35. TEN is on time and NINE is one day Late.

Now I need to know where's that humidity at??

Here's another test for you guys:

Now if you guys recall, eggs 4-8 needed 38 days to come out, now we have NINE at 36 and TEN at 35, coming out.

Why is this important to know?

Too many variables... IMO, the first ones took as long as they did because humidity and temp were too low, now that's changed, right? These next ones could be ready now.

I was going to say same as Kathy

The reason 4-8 took so LONG is because they were STICKY, the humidity at one point hit 80-85 causing this. So we lowered the humidity to try and get them to lose some of that water while they were inside the shell So that when we opened them, BOOM they were able to spend there Time absorbing there yolks and had less work with absorbing the moisture. That's why they Blew Up so quickly.. Because at that time, all they needed to do was concentrate on absorbing there yolks..

NOW TECHNICALLY, we should have Lost 4-8 so we were ABSOLUTELY LUCKY... to get out what we got.

Even though Ducks are water Fowl you would think They could handle the High humidity and Lots of water. Well They can't, they haven't fully used there lungs properly at that stage.

Now egg nine is one day Late, as Kathy said, "he probably needed that extra day because the temp was to low. SO she's ON THE MONEY THERE.

Number ten is ON time because we Raised that Temp Just in time to get him on the CORRECT schedule. GOOD JOB KATHY!! WOOO HOOO.

Now that we have them back on Schedule we need to know what that Humidity is so that we can Raise it and have a "normal" hatching from here on.
