Incubation progress of Muscovy eggs

as to how long eggs will be good for.....

that all depends on how they have been stored..

I can get 30 day old eggs to hatch fine with the way I store them (lol.. one of my trade secrets that I have shared with a few people on here)...
refrigerator?

Many people use wine coolers, we bought a couple used "Incufridges" and will use one for keeping eggs cool and the other will be used for growing bacterial cultures once we get the lab set up. That's when I become a true mad scientist, lol.

Oh, by cultures I mean fro sick birds. From that we'll also be able to do our own sensitivity testing and that will allow us to pick the most effective antibiotic. Good thing my roommate is smart, 'cause I don't know where to start, lol.

Mini lab in the spare bedroom. Dual purpose lab, lol. Scope, centrifuge, Incufridges, stuff for fecal floats and a whole bunch of chemistry "stuff", but we also do electronics, so we have soldering irons, meters, analyzers, scopes for that, too.

Found a black and white not doing a good job with her nest... one duckling 30 feet away following chickens, one in half a shell two feet away, ice cold and not breathing, one still wet next to her and three or four eggs still under her. Sigh,

. I put the dead looking one and the live wet one in the incubator and came back an hour later to two *live* ducklings, lol. Interestingly, all ducklings are chocolate.
