~ Incubator Hard-wiring *Please Help* ~

Maybe this will help explain . I am assuming you're a chem student so formulas must not be foreign to you . P=IxE .......P is power or Watts.....I is amps.....E is voltage . So if you know your watts you can work backwards to find your voltage or amps . So to find amps it's P/E =I.....to find voltage.......P/I=E . I could give you tons of formulas to find different things about electricity , but the basic formulas are .......E/R (R being resistance) =I (amps) E/I=R ....IxR=V......one horse power is equal to 746 watts . Hope this helps.....remember these are just formulas.......usually you have to de-rate for wire size , breakers , and disconnects (which you wouldn't have for small appliances like incubators , but I didn't want anyone to misunderstand what I'm saying about all circuits ) Usually you have to look in the code book to get what you really need to do after you figure out the formulas .

Ohm and stuff huh? I've been through it, but not Chem...its PHYSICS! Haha. I remembered that, but hey, sometimes the things they teach you, they didn't say u can put it to work so yeah...pretty lame how some professors just teach you. "Here is the 100+ formulas...remember, do well on the final...and MOVE ON!" haha
