Update #4: First the bad news. The egg that had turned half gray has died. It was due to hatch today.
Now the good news, the last egg in this clutch has pipped and has started hatching. That makes 1/5 to make it through a loss of power. I’ll chalk it up to a lesson learned. Hope for the best but don’t hold your breath.
