Incubator off for 5 hours, what are the chances of the eggs surviving?

I went out for around six hours and when I came home the incubator was off and the eggs were cold.
so, would they still be alive or not.

I bet they are fine. Just get it going again and expect the babies to be later than average.

My power went out couple years back for 8 hours and just about all hatched They should be fine

Our power was out for 3 days last year & amazeingly had about 1/2 an incubator hatch! I was'nt expecting any!

thanks guys,The eggs are back to the normal temperature now. I'll be candling tomorrow so hopefully everythings fine.

they're guinea fowl eggs and only at the begining, day 5.

Dont know ..anything..about guineas but if they are like chickens they should be alright Not late enough in the process to do a lot of harm Keep us up on what happens Be interesting to know
