Incubator problems help please

You want the incubator in a place with a stable temperature. You don't want it in a spot that is going to be really warm sometimes, and cool other times. You want to reduce the chances of temperature spikes as much as possible. A constant ambient temperature is best.

Oops sorry i didn't see this post that's a good idea that's why though I set it behind my tv so the heat coming off my tv keeps it warm behind there and there is another shelf above that has the vcr on and so it keep the heat in there a bit
you can wrap it with a small blanket or towels but the incubator should be kept in a room that the temperature stays at around 65 to 70 degrees for best results .away from windows and heat from things like TV and such .

Well as I don't really know where to put it the last time is set it on top of my dresser but I don't want it that high up as the last time I dropped an egg

Well I keep it in my room because my room is the warmest room in the house so I need to keep it it my room

dose not matter where can be on a low table end table or something like make sure it is stable and will not get bumped off . it can be any where as long as the temperature stays constant . it can be high or low run the incubator for a couple of days to check for stable temps and humidity before setting your eggs .this is very important .

you will find more answers to questions by thread surfing than staying on your own not saying abandon it but go to others . find the she said he said thread good people there also the hatching journey of a complete newby all are real good at hatching eggs .

Ok thanks I have run it before and it has always run stable temps other than has dropped a degree or two very rarely so I could run it a day just to make sure
