Incubator vs. Brooder for hatched chick

I just meant once the chick poops, over the 24 hours it will get dirty with poop.

One chick is not going to make much poop for 24 hours in the brooder unless it poops in the water. It'll be fine.

I wasn't able to get it into the brooder until this morning after all.
It is chirping like crazy.
It hasn't drank or eaten anything. I dipped its beak in sugar water. What should I do?

Sorry, I only just saw this. Is the chick eating now? It should be. Hopefully it is warm enough too.
