to this thermostat

in detail instructions would be very much appreciated.

Interesting! I used a WHT and it was more obvious than this one. Looks like screws to connect wires. Sorry, not familiar with this type.

You can't, unless you have a 24 volt power supply. Plus a transformer. You need a water heater thermostat.
