Incubator woes- ANOTHER UPDATE RE: Skillet's Eggs W/ PICTURES!!!!

OK .............. a total of 11 keets hatched!!!! With some really nice colors. Here is a couple of group photo.

I think these are all Royal Purples but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Two Lavenders.

And I think a Violet and maybe a Buff? Not sure on these two.

The last two are a Pearl and a Pied Pearl. Not a bad hatch from eggs shipped in during the hottest of August and hatched after a Hurricane with no electric for five days!!!

Ooooooooh how adorable! VERY cute hatch, so colorful! All I can say is WOW, unbelievable with the power outage and those temp extremes!

The one you called buff is a Buff Dundotte, and yep those are Royal Purples. That Violet is completely cute!

Thanks guys!!!!! This was my first Violet too!!! DH says it looks like he has a hat on. Now .... the wait to see if Skillet's eggs hatch.

You could name the Violet keet Irene if it turns out to be a Hen

Hope Skillet's eggs come thru for you too... what was the time frame on those during the power outage and how long were they in the trash before you put them back in the incubator?

Male Buff Dundottes are lighter than the females... are yours all males? There's always some variation to pretty much all of the color shades, depending on the genetics.. which is why IDing keets can be so difficult sometimes
