Incubator woes- ANOTHER UPDATE RE: Skillet's Eggs W/ PICTURES!!!!

Quote:
The one hatched on 4th of July was almost white looking. It is a girl. She has been saying buck wheat for a week now. If I can catch her I will try to take a pic of her now.

I caught her & brought her inside. Had DD take the pics-- that is why you see a messy room in the background.

Remember I had keets hatch after the electric was off for 5 days due to hurricane Irene. Remember that I had also thrown away some of Skillet's eggs and got them back out of the trash when the keets started to hatch. Also remember that Skillet was DH's pet and he also has a pet rooster named Crock Pot. Then Skillet got killed by a dog so I went out and found three new hens for Crock Pot. Here's a picture of Crock Pot and Skillet the day after the hurricane. Skillet's the little red hen in the back.

OK, I got up this morning to one hatched chick!!!!! The spitting image of Skillet too! So I went out to feed the horses and by the time I got back in, two more had hatched!!!! There is one last egg which is the one she layed the day she died so I'm praying that it will have hatched by the time I get home from work. So with no further ado .............. I present to you ............... Little Skillet, Dutch Oven and Crock Pot Jr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
