I just looked up male guinea fowl sounds and they make the same noise as the one my neighbor has. I guess he has a couple males.

I do have a few questions.. how do you tell the gender of guinea fowl? How loud are guinea roos? Can they live with chickens well?

The males only make 1 sound, the females make 2.

The roos are actually quieter than the hens.

The roos live best with female chickens.

Not necessarily, the females make that sound too. There is no sound the female can't make, it is the roos who are more limited.

I haven’t either but IMO it doesn’t look like a great incubator, I prefer to buy one thats brand new because they are way more reliable.

I agree, but new ones are expensive.
I usually hatch under a broody but I'm doing a big breeding project so I wanted a backup plan- meaning ALL the equipment including heat plate, brooder etc. Whats your fave brooder plan Jade?
