So, I appreciate the tips on testing hygrometers and such, but nobody answered if they think there is something wrong with my new Genesis.
Does that mean that as long as I trust my thermometers, it should be safe to use it?
Sorry I have no idea how reliable your Genesis will be. That model does have many favorable reviews so if you trust the accuracy of your thermometers and have made the adjustments to get the temperature where you want it, you should be okay. If possible I would do a test run with eggs that are not quite as precious to you.
The enabler part of me thinks you should get a cabinet incubator.
Using these thermometers got my last group almost all hatching on their due date. I'll test the new Genesis with some of my own eggs, and not Ralphie's. The reason I ordered a new incy was cuz I was worried about Ralphie's eggs in my Stealthbator. But I've been pleased with the consistent temps and humidity in there, so I will just leave Ralphie's eggs in there until lockdown.
