I have a theory..... the ones that internally pipped all came from a pen with a broody... maybe she sat on them some extra before I collected eggs. So they are a little ahead of the others maybe. The others are not internally pipping. I moved the trays to the hatcher and put the ones from that pen in hatching baskets. I will do the others tomorrow... that is lockdown day. No biggie... I only have 3 batches of eggs in the hatcher... WHAT WAS I THINKING!

Good thing they are smaller batches and not 3 of 180 eggs each.... that would be a BIG problem.

I read someone had them, but have been a few posts back?

Yes, at 5:30pm had another one hatch and seen a total of three eggs rocking a bit.
Problem is, the little rascal still in there runs around knocking into the eggs!
The three this morning broke one (not a good one, but still!)!
What is it about hatching eggs that is so addictive?
I'd go buy some cocaine, but it sucks compared to hatching eggs.
lol

Hatching is addictive because:
You get to try out new breeds of poultry
You get to breed your own birds
You get to make crossbreeds
You get that proud feeling when at least one hatches
You get to experience the miracle of life
You get to see cute little fluff balls
As chicks get older you want to get new cuter fluffballs
Its a great experience for kids
And last but not least its fun

I now blame you all with all your pictures of the cute fluffy things. I just went to Ebay and bid on 3 auctions for bantam eggs. It is all your faults. Each and every one of you are to blame for my addiction. LMAO Think my husband will buy that you all made me do it?
