OMG! Of course! And you are CLOSE!

........ Uh oh. I have recently "met" a little Polish pullet and I see you also have Polish. This is despite my saying I would never want Polish chickens. All anybody needs to do is encounter a Polish pullet in person and WHAM! you want one of your own. <*sigh*>

Yep, and I am a great enabler too!

I love my Polish! They are crazy and wild, but oh so funny and cute!

I am SO JEALOUS mine says it will be here before the end of the day Monday, and that gives me the weekend to gather more eggs, but I want to start NOW! I think my hens want me to hatch some as well, the bantam cochins who leave me an egg maybe every other day left 2 in the nest for me this morning.

Impress, you're from the town my mother's father is from. Know any Cole family members?

Gratz on the 'bators! Many days of entertainment and frustration await, and you will be hooked forever on fuzzy butts!

Hi, I'm Melissa and I'm a hatchaholic. DH keeps intimating that we have enough chickens . . I carefully explained that $60 for hatching eggs is far better than $175 for 25 chicks. ANd he agreed! I'm sure he doesn't realize what he agreed to . . . .

I went to school with some Cole's actually, B.J. Cole was in my class, he should be my age 31.

This is my second incubator I fell off the wagon. I only managed to stay ON the wagon 4 months.

So I got a message today and someone I had asked for eggs that couldn't send them when I wanted just emailed me and said she would send me out eggs by Monday or Tuesday. I'm so excited that my incubator won't be empty for long. I am going to throw in some from my girls as well when the time comes. That way I can test their fertility and see what the babies will look like. It's bad when I become my own enabler lol.

My kinda thread!

Okay...I will confess...

I'm an Hatch-A-Holic and I have 5 incubators....35 eggs...more being added daily. I have two Sportsmans, 1 1588 Hova-Baotr, a Brinsea Mini Advanced, and a broken wooden Sportsman that need some fixing. Hoping to get a Sportsman Hatcher at some point, and the bigger model of the Brinsea.

Currently I have 19 Guinea eggs, 5 Seramas, 4 Light Sussex, 3 green eggs, & 4 Golden Buffs in the 'bators. It's been such a long time since I've brooded chicks in my bedroom!

I've had an empty brooder in my room for over a month now!!

The last couple of batches of shipped eggs I recieved didn't hatch so I had to put some of my own eggs in the 'bator. However, I've been making a "few" (

) contacts and will hopefully have quite a few dozen(s) of eggs coming soon!!
