Mine lastedd about 8 hatches

Took me a retake to see that was for me LOL. Ok so eight weeks so that would be about 7 a year.... hum... I found some for $40 including shipping for 10. I am guessing you use them though the whole hatch. I would only use it though lockdown each week..... might last longer. How do you know to replace it? does it dissolve or what?

Hi everyone,I am new and I was just wondering what would be a good incubator without spending a ton of money? I had one about 15 years ago it was a little giant.I remember that it was hard to maintain the temp.maybe little giant has improved in the last 20 years.I'm wanting one that will maintain or auto a just.Any Ideas?.:frow

I just bought a Hovabator Genisis. On day 14 with my 1st hatch with it. The temp and humidity are staying VERY stable. I just add water about every 3 days... Its almost boring!! Lol I will be using my old LG as a hatcher still, because I am doing staggered hatches. The genesis was like $150 shipped, but I did not need a turner with it because I am using my auto turner from the LG. I'm LOVING my genesis!! Can't wait til lockdown Wednesday!

I put my first incubator on lock down last night. The humidity and temperature are holding great. I'm not doing nearly as well - no patience! 41 of 46 made it this far but a few of the BCMs made it by default because I can't see into those dark eggs. Now to practice patience. My goal is to only peek in the windows 15 times today not the usual 30!

Good morning Friday!!! I love Fridays now, cause they always mean another candle day or another hatch day!! ;) Today I candle day 14 on 1 set, & day 7 on another. Whoohooo!!!

today is lockdown for the next weekly installment of eggs I've set... I actually forgot to set the eggs sunday this week so they went in Monday. so the next hatches will be sunday, next sunday and then the following Monday...

I have an assortment of blrw (IF they're fertile - I've been having issues with the cold) sfh, mille fleur and silver laced bantam cochins (finally!)

LOVING my new Genesis!!! Just did my candles. Day 7 had 1 blood ring of 10 set. Day 14 had 1 early quitter of 22 that were fertile!!

Lockdown on that set is Tuesday and I still haven't made or bought anything to separate them! OOPS. AND I still don't have a hygrometer for my hatcher!!! I HAVE to find one b4 then. I'm afraid I'm going to mess up what seems like it'll be a really good hatch! I think someone said something about a cigar store having them?? Would that be just a smoke shop type place, or a special store that sells expensive cigars??
