Incubators Anonymous

what can I do to improve the humidity? Heat is from a bulb at the top controlled by a dimmer like thing. Found a small fan to cixulate air.. temp is fine, I will be adding styrofoam to sides and back.. top is saran wrapped and taped so theres little room for air to escape too much. My biggest issue is that humidty does not get high enough.

Humidity is achieved by just adding a wet hand towel into the incubator and if that will not bring it up high enough add another one .....

I have a chick that pipped at the wrong end. Its from a shipped egg. Is there anything should do to help or just leave it alone?

I'll leave advice to the experts, but don't give up. I had an egg pip at the wrong end the other day. I figured it was a goner, and it hatched!

I don't remember which egg it was, though, so I don't know if it was shipped or not.

17 embryos tonight!!! Third hatch.
One gosling internally pipped, the second one is trying, and today is lockdown.

Question; my eggs seem a little more "runny" (liquidy) than they did last time, is this ok?

post 10000!!!

just 'cuz, but if I haven't already, this is my latest hatches...
