For those waiting for the Rev. 2 of the IncuCube....I received this email, dated 4/12/2010, in reply to my inquiry:

BYC Beta Test Participants (Who are waiting for orders to ship)-

We will be receiving our new egg turners made out of a less brittle plastic tomorrow. We will be doing some testing as soon as we receive them. I will update you on the progress later this week. Thanks for your patience.

So we should be getting a response by this Friday regarding the Rev. 2. I can't wait and neither can my Easter Eggers!

My turner motor is VERY warm as well and I just can't keep the humidity stable. I put water into two of the trays and it immediately goes up to 55% but it's back down to 20% with in 4 hours. 8 more days to hatch. I hope I get a couple.

I just set 36 Cortunix eggs yesterday in my Incucube. I decided to NOT use the egg turner, and just turn the eggs by hand this round. If anything can hatch, Cortunix will.

I don't have a problem keeping my humidity at about 52% with 2 water cups full. My temp is staying pretty steady from 99.1 to 100F

So 16 days and counting until hatch date.

I don't want to wait any longer for the IncuCube to come in, my EEs are now one week old and they are going into my Hovabator. Hopefully, when the IncuCube comes in, I will be able to transfer them to it.

Just wanted to post an update for everyone. We are very actively pursuing rev2 of the IncuCube and Turner. I don't have a firm date yet, but I will keep everyone posted about the progress. We don't expect it to take very long to get everything finished (should be by the end of next week, but there are still some loose ends that need to be firmed up like delivery dates of parts, etc. So please be patient).
