IncuCube Bator

YESTERDAY I SET ANOTHER 12 EGGS IN MY INCCUBE. THIS WILL BE MY SECOND ATTEMPT, AFTER MY LAST TOTAL FAILURE. I HAVE 8 MIXED EGGS FROM A FRIEND AND 4 FROM MY OWN FLOCK, SO WE WILL SEE. THIS TIME I AM HAVING MORE PROBLEM GETTING MY HUMIDITY UP. I HAVE 3 CUPS FULL OF WATER AND IT SAYS 29%, last time I only used 2 cups till lock down. I am not sure how critical the humidity is for the 18 days? Should I try to get it up higher, or is this ok for dry hatching?

Make sure it is closed tight if it's off a bit that happened to me once if not put saran wrap on it like I did then you can put the water in the bottom that gets it way high for me.

I have not opened the incubator since setting the eggs on Friday afternoon. The temp has been steady at 99.3 - 100.3 The humidity has been within what appears to be acceptible range of 44% - 49%. This version does not have the cups but two bowls. I have water in both with the smaller bowl sitting in the larger. While the seam fit where the turner wire enters the cube was troublesome it so far has not appeared to be a real source of concern given the numbers. I do like the idea of the plastic wrap so that's on my "possible" list for lockdown. The turner is gently moving and the fan is fairly quiet. Now to ponder some form of organized note pad as the napkin I have been keeping notes on is getting tired

My temps have been great! The range is 99.9 - 101 and the humidity is steady at 40%..I love the turner it is very quiet and gentle. So far I am very happy with this incubator, the footprint is perfect, wonderful size for the side couch table so I can monitor the incubator along with drinking my coffee and watching tv.

I can make a suggestion that there should be a couple of stops on the wire rack to help center the turner perfectly square.

Otherwise, just little tweaks ...I really like this IncuCube

I cannot for the life of me find this incubator on the Incubator warehouse site--what am I missing? I want to look into it for use in a classroom hatch kit I want to offer for lease. Help?

Have you seen the incukit, I think it's called. You can basically install this all in one device into basically anything. I saw your other thread and I had no response for you, I recently saw this kit and saw this thread and remembered your post and well ya know and I'm rambling now... but here's the link:

And the thread about it:

You would probably be able to use an LG turner depending on the size container you use.

Sorry for hijacking-kind of...I am talking about an incuCube product right??

Has anyone heard anything lately on how the testing is going for the new motor etc. on the incuCube ???? Randy said the motor ( for the turner)would be in about a week or so ago... Was wondering if anyone knew anything...

Well if the new motor is the one that is included with the Revision 2 that I am testing now, I would say GREAT!! The temps have been steady, the motor for the egg turner is so quiet and gentle...no more "clunk" like from my hovabator. I really like this incucube.

The only thing I can say improve on is....make little notches for the various wires that have to go through the wall for plugging in. Maybe a few small holes in the turner's frame so I can add water via a tube or funnel. Other than that...so far, nothing else. It is really a nice little rig.
Oh wait, if you order the egg turner, there is almost no room for the included temp/humidity gauge.....will have to offer a digital gauge with a wire probe that you can leave inside...like the Zilla Terrarium Thermometer/Hygrometer (love that too!)
