India Blue How do there colors change though there different life stages?

I don't have a vet that deals with birds around, SHould I give him some tylan? What does and how?

Before I could recommend a dose, I would need to know his weight. Just a guess, but he should probably weigh 3-3.5kg at his age.

FWIW, the food scale in my avatar was around $20 at Target. You could also hold him while you're on a scale, then weigh just yourself and subtract from the previous weight.

I tried the scale thing and it is about 6 pounds maybe a touch more. This is with me holding him on the scale with my self. If you do recommend meds, should I inject? if so where?

Tylan 200, I have 22 GA Needles and also 30 GA.

Maybe I should start a New post about the eye issue and see if others will give there input.

First and foremost, before anything else and always when I get new birds, I deworm. It certainly helps with how they can react to other treatments, if needed.

Pfauenfreund I want to thank you for the pictures you provided of the peas stages of life. We have gotten far off the subject here but I believe the pics are invaluable to someone just starting out with peafowl. Again, thank you so very much for posting these!

I had the breeder look at the bird, It does appear to be a defect from birth, I don't see any scar tissue and the eye does not look swelled and the bird seems to be doing fine.
