Indian Runner Ducks for meat?

heads up. Basically legs are good you can do confit duck leg with them. The rest is basically best done as taco meat or Pho meat or soup meat it's just faster. Then you can skim the fat and use it for fries or whatever you want to do. It's enjoyable and underrated. They pasture really well and one of the few ducks that can actually bred ok without water. The other breeds who try and do it will push out the hips of the females over time making it super hard for the females to walk. Because male ducks don't give females breaks. Even if they don't want it. Ducks are kinda nutty. Male ones that is. Overall it's not bad at all but no one will probably bring this back into major production. but frankly they make lovely dinner party confit duck legs. Really good size and not to big. Plus, cheap beacuse runner ducks most of there diet is basically pasture. They do well in a rotational system. Just need enough to dip there head and clean properly.
