Indiana 2010 Chickenstock-2011 NEWS!!

Since it's this close (and good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise on my plans to be there), I'll go ahead and throw out my current listing of what stuff I have available right now, and if anybody wants to specifically call dibs on it, I will hold onto it and not sell it off between now and then. lol

Turkey poults - mottled black & mottled x black Spanish (and a few different colors that the mottleds throw)
I have a few a month old, a bunch a few weeks old, and some a few days old right now, and have more due to hatch out between now and the chickenstock. They're $7 each.

Guinea keets - various colors. I have 5 that are feathered out, 5 that are a couple weeks old, and a few more that are a few days old, and a few more due to hatch between now and chickenstock time. They're $5 each.

Ducklings - Swedish mix (I think the dad is not pure Swedish, I got them as adults from someone, don't know their background), but the babies look like blue or black Swedish, all I have right at the moment are black, but I have more due to hatch, so might be something else pop up.... Have a few Saxony. Have some Muscovey. Also have one runner that's a chocolate/trout (I got it from a BYCer). Any of the ducks, $4 each.

Mixed breed chicks - just a motley barnyard mix. I've got a few newly hatched, a few a little older. $1 each.

Diamond doves - I think a male and a female, they were hatch mates. $20 each.

Might have some random eggs (turkey, duck, chicken, pheasant...just have to see).....

Oh, and at the moment I have about a dozen male coturnix quail that I need to thin out of my little flock. I have had somebody ask about these (non BYC) and am waiting on a reply back from them, so depending on if they are taken or not I might could have them available... $1.50 each.

Feel free to let me know if anybody would like me to save you anything in particular that I listed.

Hey everyone,
I just want to throw a few things out there as far as food goes.
Last year since lunch was served around 2, I am hoping that someone might be willing to bring fruit, veggies or crackes and chips for snacking until lunch time. Any takers?

I'll sign up for a fruit tray and a veggie tray if that would help?? And you may as well put me down as a definate, there's at least one thing I want for sure now. So you can put me down for fruit and veggie trays and 3 Buff Minorca hens, and a pair of blue fawn Call ducks, bring to sell the Calls, hens for free.

Thnank you so much!! I will get you on the list, can't wait to meet you! Do you have pics of the Minorca's?

I was going to take pics of them, but I got my camera out to put batteries in it tonight for the 4H show tomorrow and what do you know for some reason the lense is stuck so it won't work. I think I can borrow one tomorrow or Sunday. I'll ry to get pictures. They are just too high strung for me, and I am trying to make room for larger laying hens. They lay great though.

I love the black ones and wondered if the buffs were just as beautiful!
