Hubby was talking about maybe letting it be hosted here at our place but parking maybe an issue

We have 5acers and a nice big open meadow with lots of trees on one side.. If someone wants to take it on and come give the place a look over.. I just need another persons help if it will be here.. We could run a hose out there for water.. bathroom and electric would be another story..

So whos up to coming to Hendricks County?

Now I will say I wont mind it being held here BUT I would need alot of help being I'm pregnant and come time for any sort of labor (no pun intended there

) I will be VERY pregnant.

Thoughts?

So how did they do for you. I didn't do very good at following up last year. I have no Polish right now. We lost IDK how many over the winter. All my NN's dissapeared too! Freeranging

They are ALL officially locked up until the end of April. From March 1 until all of the guineas realize where they are supposed to put their eggs for me, everybody stays in for the majority of the day and gets out just a few hours in the evening.

Thanks for the vote Carole. hehehehe I have thought about having one here at our place, I dont know where we would park everyone, plus Greg isnt too keen on haveing it here, hes not a people person like me.

I would come on Friday morning and helpat either place if I could pitch a tent Friday night. Also willing to spring for a port-a-potty.
We could make do without electricity (okay, I do primitive camping) if we had to. Or how far away from it would we be? I have a couple of heavy duty 100' outdoor extension cords that I use to heat waterers in winter and probably some shorter ones as well. Camp stoves, portable grills, etc. are an option.

Hey! Well you know where I live atleast..lol!

Ok so everyone know we are located about 30mins tops from where the chickenstock has been held for the past two years.

We are willing to do it here BUT I will need help as Im pregnant and come August I will be about ready to pop.. lol

I have 2 BBQs we can use but am lacking on tables/chairs ect. As far as electic goes we can put in another breaker out there (the location we would hold it is by my well which is powered by its self.. so a few new breakers could be installed) OR yes extension cords could be ran.. have to be outdoor as they would go across a small creek.. Port-a-potty would be great too!

Well what does everyone think??? Need to get the ball rolling if its going to be here.
