INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

I apologize for laughing out loud as I read this! I think the chipmunks are on to you and are executing their revenge. You may want to sleep with your windows closed.
The windows don't close anymore. The chipmunks have undermined the foundation. The house lists to the west by 10 degrees.

Fortunately, it's leaning into the prevailing winds.

I candeled my RCBL eggs the other day. 9 are devloping on track. 3 look like they are developing but a little slower then where they should be.4 are very questionable and I was going to toss them becuase they look like they got scrambeled during shipping. But I was showing my mom one of the eggs where you could see the outline of one of its feet. And she keep bugging me asking why I was going to throw them away. So to make her happy I told her I would live them into lockdown. I already know they arent going to develop and tried to tell her but no reasoning wiht mother lol!

Yes.  If he actually does carry the blue egg gene.  Not a guarantee with an EE.  And of course, if you have my luck, you would have to hatch out approximately 50 chicks to get a pullet or two.

I was doing some reading on OEs too and they suggested crossing black copper Marans with Ameraucanas to get a good olive color. The dark brown of the bcm was supposed to help. Are the welsummers similar?

Might it be easier to order one or is it more fun to make one?

Mom is always right. Even when she's wrong, she's right.

If you don't believe me, ask my mom.
