I set some eggs a day apart. When it comes to lockdown, should I just put them together? I really don't want to put them in separate hatchers but will if need be.

I had the same thing with my last hatch. My eggs pretty much all hatched the same time.

I've done it both ways, If they are my own eggs I"ll just put them together, But if they are shipped eggs ( especially the ones that are a day behind) I"ll use to hatchers.

Ironically they are the eggs I got from you! Lol. I had shipped eggs and were getting old, so I put in bator on Saturday then went down and got the eggs from you and heather. Ill probably just put them all together.

I usually candle every 7 days and just take out the clear ones then. So if your on day 7 and see NOTHING at all then remove them. On day 14 i watch for death ring and removed those. Once you start hatching more you will know what the eggs are suppose to look like day by day.

OH!! Also want to add. When candling sometimes you might see a ring around egg that looks like death ring but watch for movement. I sometimes have eggs that have the big ring around it but there is still movement in it so dont want you throwing out good eggs that might appear to be bad. LOL

Thats why i always set more eggs than what i really want because you usually dont get a 100% hatch rate.
