INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

what do you do with them after you trap them?

I shake the trap to stun them, then take them out and kill them.

scared a cat would kill my chickens if it wasn't raised with them. and don't know how my dogs would react to a cat??? I know it seems I'm shooting all you guys ideals down, and I'm sorry about that. I guess I will just have to deal with it somehow, I put my Aussie out in the chicken yard for a bit, he is real good at catching birds, but he don't eat the grain or mess with the chickens, but he is a house dog so I cant leave him out long. but it will give my chickens time to get something to eat while he is out there,

I have more trouble with ferel cats killing my bantams, I live trap them and relocate, so I don't think I want any cats around

What would cause the shell to be like this? I have o shells and grit out for them.

I think they just pop it out before it get the shell hardened around them. As long as they don't keep laying soft shells, I wouldn't worry about it.

been looking around online, nothing yet, I think I'm goin to double up the round bale nets.. ???

It ground up corn. We jut call it fines around a here. Our feed mill also puts little of this one stuff, not sure of name but it is suppose aid in the weight of livestock. And I have some kittens raised with my chickens and they sleep with some f my chickens. I have some that I got as adults , they don't sleep with them but go in tere pen to drink the water if there bowl is not filled. I only had a problem with one cat and a batch of chicks. All chicks were ok and the cat quickly learned
