INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Hellooooo everyone!
I have been keeping really busy lately, which means I'm at least 20 pages behind. I've tried to catch up, but it's going to have to wait until later tonight.

I have 2 broody girls, which means...
I am looking for Hatching Eggs!!!
I'll be traveling, from Indy, SOUTH on 65 to Louisville on Saturday, staying the night and then driving NORTH mid Sunday. If there's anyone close that would be willing to meet me either day on 65S, I'd be ecstatic.
I'm looking for:
splash and white Silkies(I know that result will be a mystery)
Any sort of Top Hat breed
A blue or lavender breed
BLRWs
Or anything else unique/rare?
I only need a few eggs, maybe 2 each, 8+ total

I also have a young Roo up for grabs. He was given to me by Brad Selig. Father:Maran Mother:unknown or columbian NN?
He is starting to get these unique white splotches on his chest.

Free to good home or freezer camp
PM me!
Annie

I've got a dozen silkie eggs ready to go if you want them. I can send them to you if you want since you are't coming north. Pm me if you want

That's kind of what I thought; I just couldn't find a straight answer searching the coop building areas of the forums. Esp. since I'm not planning on clipping wings if I can help it.

Maybe that's another good question to ask - does everyone here clip wings? Does anyone not? My chickens will spend most of their time in the coop and the run, and then in a tractor once I build one. They might get an hour on really nice days of free time in the back yard, but that will be the exception, so I'm thinking it won't be an issue. Opinions?

I have never clipped one of my chickens wings. Ruins them for shows and they don't look as pretty. Plus I don't have reason I would need to

The red I was talking about was actually orange that gets brighter at breeding time and from my distance it looked red. Guess its breeding time for them.. lol and it didn't say but it showed a color map of where it is at what time of the year and we are a normal path to their summer spot.. so maybe I will get to see some more going through. If not then maybe next year, might be silly but I put it in my calender to be on the look out. They were pretty and it was cool seeing a different kind of bird here. Used to seeing the cranes around here.
Hey, just saw these cattle egrets on the Goose Pond page (in Linton, IN). Did they look like this?
