INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

the vet tested for coccidia and a few other common stuff and he came up neg. he ( the vet ) is going to do some checking up about his breed and  right now I am treating for worms, Vet thinks the blindness may be something different????
So that is where we are right now. I'm so worried, he is my baby.

:hugs I'm keeping your little guy in my thoughts! Can you list all his symptoms? That might make it easier for others to help.

Oh, and in regards to the incubator talk, I'm in deep now! I had a moment of weakness and won an auction this morning for call duck hatching eggs in a variety of different colors, and they'll be here by Thursday! I wanted to post to see if there would be any interest if I have a lot hatch, or if I have extra drakes to rehome? The auction was for 12+, seller said they would include as close to 18 eggs as possible, and I was only wanting to keep 3-4 ducks and a drake, so if I have a good hatch I'll have plenty to share. I've been researching thoroughly over the past few days and I've learned that call ducks can be challenging to hatch, so no guarantees, but I'd be glad to share any extra duckies with anyone here. :)

he just has no life in him he does eat and drink, and his comb and wattles are very pale. He poo's water. he is cold to the touch and get under my shirt against me as long as I will let him.and no matter how hot it outside he wants his heat lamp. and he is now blind. I have heard the vit definentces can cause that so I have been giving him a multi suppl. in his water for 5 days now.
you'll have to excuse my spelling. hope you can figure out what I'm saying. I just started treating for worms today. ???? The vet dont even know what to do, but he is studying on it...

So let me see if I can list them out here:

Lethargic
Diarrhea
Cold / No body heat control
Blindness

I'll see if I can find anything. The variety of symptoms isn't like anything I've heard of, so I'm wondering if there's more than one thing going on here. :/ That's not saying it's impossible for it to be one thing. If some of his symptoms go away after the treatment for worms, though, let us know.

Edited to fix the symptom list.

Lethargic
No appetite
Diarrhea (although that may be just because he's not eating)

Oops, I must have misread! Okay.

Did you observe any of these things with the eyes:

Swollen?
Discharge...either 'watery" or mucous-like?

This, and before he was ill, what was his daily routine? Free-range? Could he have eaten something toxic, poisonous plants of some sort, heavy metals, etc?

He is confined to his house and run cause the free rangers beat him and his woman up cause they are so small I guess. The only thing I think is odd about his eyes is all the feathers are gone, he used to have a normal feathered face and now he don't. No swelling or discharge, just no feathers.

if you get this pic bigger and look around his eye you can see a mask like pattern of missing feathers. he used to have feathers there.

Ocular Marek's can cause blindness and watery stool and could account for a loss in appetite too. Hopefully that isn't it, but it is a possibility.
