Does anyone know of any other auctions/swap meets in/around Indiana? I am working on adding these to the Google map and calendar on the events page. I have these so far:

The first Friday of May and October there's a big bird auction in Topeka, IN. At the Exotic Animal auction.

I don't have any keets right now, but would sell some adults?

I haven't been on lately, been slowly trying to clean coops and set up for winter. Have a few silkies and geese to sell. Then I'm down where I'll at least be happy !!

Anyone going to the White River show in Spencer Aug 30??

I am going to the show in Spencer. What kind of silkies do you have? I am looking for some different colored girls. I have a white and a splash right now with a black/blue rooster and I have a white rooster that I am growing out right now. What colors do you have? maybe we could arrange something for the day of the show!!!

Right now I have 3 maybe 4 black hens, and 1 blue, Might have more when I go back through them. I've gone from 7 different varietys/pens of silkies down to 2 pens. I've been cutting way back. I'm planning on takeing them,and maybe some geese to the show to sell. depends on what I can fit in the van !! We are only taking 5 to show, Mine are all molting, or just coming out of molt.

They are about 17 wks and no eggs or crows from either! As a matter of fact none of the chicks I got in Feb are laying yet...what am I doing wrong? Not even Philo and Dilly (the WCB Polish) very sure they are pullets though considering their beautiful fluffy full head crests!

This is Olivia a few weeks ago. She hatched in March.


This Elliot, also hatched in March, you can defiantly see a big difference.

2 black and the blue are this years hatch, others are 1 yr old.
