INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Houston I think we have a problem.

Went out to turn my eggs that I have in the incubator this AH and the GFI had tripped and temp. was down to 80. They have only been in since Sunday. Is there any hope?? Yes No maybe.

This year I finally got a pair of Sloggers from TSC, after wanting a pair for about 20 years. They are my "chicken shoes" and an asset here where the trees keep my yard moist so much of the time. Great for dewy mornings or nights: http://instagram.com/p/pod-ctMPJb/?modal=true
I use them too! I have 2 pairs...1 for home and 1 for if I visit someone else w/animals for biosecurity. I've used them for 2 years and they work well. When I first got them I thought the back of it was uncomfortable but got used to it in less than a day and have been wearing them happily ever after for summer chicken chores.

Yeah, maybe just the first day...then they loosen up a bit. I think they are very comfy!

So the chick I found on the floor in my barn looks great. But e won't open his eyes or walk. Occasionally will chirp. Will hold up the upper part of its body. Other than that it lays down. It will moves its legs but won't actually use them. And won't open his eyes. Doesn't look like a vitamin deficiency or any disease I am familiar with but I don't know what to treat with. So far he has got save a chick and poly visol. Oh and he doesn't eat so I have to feed save a chick with an eye dropper. If anyone has any thoughts I am open to ideas.
