Well you can tell your hubby that I only spent half that. My wife spent the other half lol. Anyway, it now seems almost worth that money since we are now getting 2 eggs a day, and they are so much fun to have around. Not to mention there are no vet bills like a dog has.Hi everyone! I have been MIA for the last couple weeks. I got a call for an interview for a dream job-- finally and with preliminary training course on top of catching up on grad school homework and going back to work after my illness proved to be too much to handle.
Its taken me a little while last night and the rest of tonight to get through 2 weeks of posts but I did it! I finally have pictures again of everyone but 1 because I apparently lost count. That will be forthcoming on the my next post. Then off to bed cause I'm zonked.
I watched a couple You-tube videos where they said rooster heads are a delicacy in certain cultures (so are chicken legs-- the ones with the talongs) so this might where he was coming from ??
LOVE this!!!
reminds me of the tom turkey that tried to hump my husband in April-- he certainly liked him because he was displaying and doing some dances for him...too funny
Wow, I hope that the hawks don't hear the gossip that there are chickens around or this might be happening to me someday![]()
This is not funny but I love the stories you tell!
awesome!
This is what I can't wait to do in our backyard for my flock
My DH almost crapped his pants when I told him how much you spent on the chickens
So sorry to hear about this![]()
