Anyone in northwest Indiana have an incubator I can borrow???
You might try the Habit for Humanity Restore if you have one in your area. If they have paint they often have several gallons of each color of whatever they have in stock at the time.Anyone know where I can get cheap exterior paint for the coop? Really wanted it all one color. I check craigslist, but no luck, or too expensive for my taste.
Sorry to hear this.We lost our Tom today. Was noticing he was looking pale this morning so I thought it was time for him to go.![]()
Will you replace him cluckacres? Or do you think they will be fine?
wish i had one you could borrow. i was so antsy for chicks i set mine up on the 22nd and have 27 "mutts" incubationg now!!! can't wait for spring!!
on another note, i noticed our neighbors have peacocks a few miles down the road, wonder how hard it would be to get my hands on some of those eggs and how to incubate them?? any one from indiana tried it?

My husband is an artist and often saves the wings of various birds - including chickens - with all feathers intact for various projects. He dries them with borax I think. Sounds strange, but those wings are quite beautiful if preserved well.
