INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Cool, did you follow a thread on here to start it? Wouldn't hurt to try it.

Hey Crafty chick this is one of the threads I went by. Chick it out its great. Plus I got info on it from Jchny2000 thats on this thread, she helped me out alot too. There is some post farther back that she explained her method. But here is a link to a thread https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/644300/fermenting-feed-for-meat-birds it says meat birds but you can use this method on pretty much any animal. Here is Jchny2000's post about how she ferments. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/730582/indiana-bycers-here/120. I will have to post info on fermenting in our members page. Will prolly take info from both links above and combine them to make 1. Hope this helps you out and anyone else that see's this post!!!!!!

Found this for 480 including tax, has 4 nesting boxes. Way better than the pre fab coop i was looking at that costs 500$. Do you think this would make a happy home? Or should I keep looking

Thats a really nice coop. That just might be my next coop project! I love building my own things so thats why i would build this myself instead of just buying. I know I would prolly spend more money on it doing it myself but I will get the satisfaction of it building it rather then buying. That coop would really look good natural like the pic or stained or even yet painted.

So for the fermenting is the unprocessed apple cider vinegar the best? I'm wondering because I have some brewing yeast and I don't know if that would be a good starter or not, I tried finding info about it but couldn't find anything except that it's good for the chickens to eat.
