. The demensions are 24"x21". I have 8 of them. I am thinking I'll take them out to the coop tomorrow and see what they look like inside and how they fit. If Ican dual purpose them, that would be awesome.

well sadly our chickens are being fostered by a friend for the time being. monday our house went up in flames. we are holding together but it has been rough. hopefully this wont keep us down for long.

I am so sorry for the loss of your home. I can't imagine what you and your family are going through. Thoughts and prayers are coming your way.

I did the same thing! Had a 3 yr old with the flu, so I haven't been on as much. I saw the chicks today on ustream, my 6 yr. Old wanted me to rewind it....lol.I had to tell her it was live and it was in indy. She had a hay day when the fluffy things would look at her(the camera).

I am glad she enjoyed them! I hope the young one gets well, fast!

Cluck - what happened with your Tom?

I've been sick and not on much...I may have missed an update on this but I didn't see it.

Did anyone find those ceramic or wood eggs?

Well my Tom got hit by a tanker while at work. It broke his leg (hip). I put him in a closed in pen in the barn. He just sits in one spot pretty much. I have been struggling on what to do with him. I would hate for him to have a troubled life with only one leg. Plus if the leg dosent get better I will have medical cost to get it amputated. Im going to give him more time to see if he will start moving around more. Just not sure if I should just put him down or just see what happens and maybe he will be fine with one leg.

I would love to find some of those. Here is some of my ideas. Nest boxes, Small chicken pens for transporting or something like that, Chick Hatching Trays with some kind of liner over it, Incubating Trays. Wow so many Possibilities!!!
