INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Just candled my eggs. Could tell 5 out of 25 were showing veins but of course those 5 where white eggs. lol Im sure there is veins in the brown ones but just to hard to tell at this point. Its only day 4.

I did not candle mine. I was nervous to do so since they were dark brown, and I probably would not have throw out any, anyway. LOL My six hatches seem to be doing well. #6 is slimmer than the others (probably a result of her not consuming all of her fluids from the egg) but she seems to be doing ok. I currently do not have a camera set up for their new temporary location. I hope to remedy that.
 
well sadly our chickens are being fostered by a friend for the time being. monday our house went up in flames. we are holding together but it has been rough. hopefully this wont keep us down for long.

3 of my girls decided to stroll up from the coop. Here is a pic of my new hatches from yesterday. Of course, you cannot tell that I changed out their paper towel floor this morning!
 
Cwaf~ its like a chicken parade, I love it! Aww fuzzballs.... makes me wonder how Ican make my coop bigger

hahaha I may have to figure out how to make mine bigger, too, since I hatched out 11 more since Christmas! DO'H!
