I think I need a chicken intervention! So I finally added up how many chicks I have and pretty shocked. I have 71 chicks! 9 will be leaving next week, but I have more hatching and more eggs already paid for to ship later this spring/summer! Darn chicken math!

I have the same ailment, we are up to 127 birds, and add 128 by morning I hope...

Ha ha. We are the same way, our flock doubled from what we originally wanted, from 4 to now 8. Not nearly as many as y'all, but doubled anyway. Crazy chicken math indeed! Sure is fun.

Wow! Brad- that is SOME list!!! I thought I was getting a wide rang but you have me beat by a mile!! I had someone ask me a couple days ago how many I had, so we did some counting. Way over 50 with all the babies. But I have a lot of packing peanuts that are going bye bye!! Then I can start getting ones I want again!!!

Guinea fowl. I had 9 of mine free-ranging the other day and they did the same thing to a little cat that showed up. Of course, they've also tried to mob a scary dead mole.

As I'm not interested in bantams (other than silkies), I had already offered those to Vickichicki. Sorry. That being said, I'm looking at some LF lemon blue Cochins!

They are black. They came from SebrightMom as eggs.

Hello everyone! Its nice to see other people from Indiana on here. I'm new to chickens. Just six weeks in lol. I have 4 silver laced wyandottes. Two bantam cochins, one black, one partridge. Two bantam brahmas, one light, one buff. Two standard blue cochins, one light, one dark. They are all babies still. 5 dogs, 4 alpacas, 2 parakeets..... and a partridge in a pear tree ;-) Im in NE Indiana.
