Hey guys! I managed to track down some silkies to buy but just found out they are all bantam! Is it hard to get silkies in LF??? I had someone just tell me they aren't a very small bantam and could go in with the LF they are just smaller but I've never actually seen one just in books and online.

They only time you will find large fowl silkies is if you live in the UK. There are no LF silkies in the US.

My mom gave me an early christmas present already lol. I love it! and had to post a pic. She got it from an antique store. I told her I wanted an egg basket gave aa few websites where they make tons of them and she found this antique one, so much cooler.

This little lady also gave us a 3.5 oz egg 3 days ago!! Nothing since then but I think she's just resting after the big one. But normally she gives a 2.5 egg everyday or every other.

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving! Mine got a whole lot better coming home from a family get together to find an incubator full of silkies! Looks like some blues, white, and partridge have hatched so far.

she is a red sexlink, golden comet, cinnamion queen, etc. They are the same thing hatcheries just have different names for them.
